Six blocksOne dotOne studio
SIXBLX is a creative design and photography studio based in Gqeberha, South Africa, founded in 2021.
The name comes from the mark: modular block shapes that read as six blocks, finished with a single orange-red dot. It is also a fair picture of how the studio works. Each piece of work is built from a few strong parts, put together carefully, with one detail that makes it land.
We work with musicians and visual artists, record labels, event organisers and businesses across South Africa. The work covers album and single artwork, event and tour branding, posters and flyers, brand identities and photography.

Every design starts from an idea rooted in the music, the culture or the business behind it, not from a template.
Built for where it lives
Streaming thumbnails, ticket vendor banners, billboards and story formats each get artwork sized and composed for them.

Published package prices, one revision included per design, and timelines agreed before work starts.

Kwan Masumpa
Kwan is a self-taught graphic designer and multidisciplinary creative from Gqeberha who started designing in 2019. Kwan's work blends culture, music and community with modern digital design, across album covers, tour identities, brand systems and photography art direction, and includes initiatives that support emerging artists and young creatives.
Process
How a project runs.
- Step 1
Brief
Tell us about the release, event or brand. Send the artist names, dates, logos and any reference images you have.
- Step 2
Concept
We build the design concept from the information you provide. Premium Release clients receive up to two concepts.
- Step 3
Revise
You review the design and send feedback. One round of revisions is included per design.
- Step 4
Deliver
Final files in high-quality JPG, and PDF where included, sized for streaming platforms and social media. Standard turnaround is 3 to 5 working days.
